The Italian manual in the historical-pedagogical field

Abstract

 

The contribution reflects the main features of the Italian historical and educational manuals during the twentieth century. The aim is to analyse either the manuals which have seized the lesson coming from the French historiography and those which are continuing to represent the traditional history of pedagogical ideas, which  has nowadays almost become outdated.
